Having stepped into the COO role after serving as Operations Leader, Zach now holds enterprise-wide responsibility for translating vision into execution. He oversees the integration of operations, compliance, and human resources—ensuring that each function not only performs effectively on its own, but also works cohesively to support the firm’s broader strategic objectives.
Zach plays a central role in driving organizational alignment, establishing accountability frameworks, and optimizing the internal infrastructure that supports both team performance and client experience. From refining workflows and enhancing systems to overseeing regulatory adherence and talent development, his leadership ensures that the business runs with precision and integrity.
His approach is both analytical and people-centered. He brings a steady, solutions-oriented mindset to complex challenges while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement. EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND
Zach Herrington joined H&H Financial Group in early 2020 after working for three years with a local company in the Mechanical Engineering field. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Alfred State College in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
Over nearly five years as a Wealth Strategy Coordinator, Zach developed a deep understanding of the firm’s financial planning process, working closely with advisors to analyze complex client scenarios, design tailored strategies, and ensure plans were executed with precision and care. This experience gave him a unique, ground-level perspective on both client needs and internal team dynamics.
He was promoted to Operations Leader in January 2025, where he quickly demonstrated his ability to elevate systems, improve team coordination, and enhance operational consistency. His engineering background continues to influence his structured, detail-oriented approach—bringing clarity to complexity and discipline to execution.
Today, as COO, Zach leverages both his technical foundation and institutional knowledge to lead the organization forward—ensuring that strategy is not only defined, but effectively implemented across all areas of the business.
PERSONAL PASSIONS & FAMILY
Zach enjoys spending time with his significant other, Stacie; their favorite pastimes are activities spent outdoors, with beach trips and motorcycle cruises at the top of their list. He is an avid outdoorsman and values time spent hunting with his father and brothers, including memorable trips to the Big Horn Mountains.
In his spare time, Zach enjoys spectating local racing events—from dirt bikes and sports cars to snowmobiles. Having previously competed in local racing circuits, he now rides for enjoyment alongside friends and family.
